Body

Body contouring.

For the one pocket that diet and training do not touch. Not a weight loss treatment, not a replacement for surgery, and we will tell you plainly if you are not a fit.

Candidacy

Who it is for. Who it is not for.

This page is longer on the second list on purpose. Body contouring has the biggest gap between the marketing and the result of anything we offer, and most of that gap comes from treating the wrong people.

A good fit

  • Within about 15 pounds of a weight you have held for a year
  • One or two specific pockets: lower stomach, flanks, under the chin, inner thighs, bra line
  • You can pinch the area, and it is soft fat rather than firm
  • You want a modest change, roughly 20 to 25 percent of the fat in that spot per course
  • Skin that still snaps back, or mild looseness we can treat alongside

Not a fit, and we will say so

  • Weight that is still moving. Results get lost in the change
  • Looking for overall weight loss. This treats a spot, not a body
  • Significant loose skin, for example after large weight loss or pregnancy. That is a surgical conversation
  • Hernias, metal implants or a pacemaker at the treatment site
  • Pregnant or planning to be within the course

How it works

Cold for fat, heat for skin.

For fat reduction we use controlled cooling. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than skin, nerves or muscle. A one hour cycle chills the pocket through an applicator, the cells break down over the following weeks, and your body clears them. Each cycle treats one applicator-sized area.

For mild skin looseness we use radiofrequency heat, the same technology as our microneedling with RF, with a larger body handpiece and no needles. It tightens existing collagen and prompts new growth over a few months.

Most plans combine the two: cooling first, tightening six weeks later.

Price

$900 for a single cooling cycle. A typical course of two to four cycles plus tightening runs $1,800 to $3,600.

What to expect

Measured, photographed, and slow.

  1. Consult with measurements

Hannah pinches, measures and photographs the area. If you are not a fit, this is where we say so and the consult is still free.

  2. Cooling cycles

One hour per applicator. Intense cold for ten minutes, then numb. You read or nap. Afterwards the area is red, firm and tingly for a few days, and can be tender for two weeks.

  3. Week six: tightening

If skin laxity is part of the plan, RF tightening sessions start now, 30 to 45 minutes each, warm, not painful.

  4. Weeks six to twelve: the change

Fat clears gradually. Photos and measurements at week twelve, side by side with day one. A second round is decided then, never sold up front.

Results vary and are not guaranteed. Cells that are cleared do not come back, but the fat cells you keep can still grow if you gain weight.
